Job Title: Clinical Training Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Training Specialist to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and non-clinical training to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff, including induction and new starter training, Pathways upgrade training, soft skill and technical training.
- Work with the Head of 111 Training, Network Clinical and Operational trainers to devise, coordinate and deliver training programs.
- Provide clinical and operational input to training programs, ensuring they are relevant and effective.
- Deliver face-to-face workshops and training sessions, using MS Teams to reach a wider audience.
- Support and lead NHS Pathways release updates, soft skill and technical training at site and across the Network.
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in clinical training and education, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of NHS Pathways and its implementation.
- Ability to analyze performance data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
- Understanding of call centre metrics and resource planning methods.
- Clinical/Call centre Management experience.
- NHS Pathways Trainer accreditation.
- High level of knowledge in handling of 111 patient calls.
