Engage with prominent clients in the technology and media sectors.

Remote position with a salary range of £40-60k plus additional benefits.

We are seeking a Qualitative Research Lead/Associate Director to become a vital part of the custom research division within a distinguished market intelligence and insights firm.

About the Company:

This organization specializes in the technology and media industries, serving high-profile clients such as Google, Amazon, Samsung, Cisco, Intel, Microsoft, and various film studios. With a team of approximately 50 professionals in the UK and a presence in the USA, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years, emphasizing development and independence as key advantages over larger consultancies.

Position Overview:

While the current focus is primarily quantitative, there is an increasing demand for qualitative expertise, prompting the need for a specialist to enhance client service. Responsibilities will include managing qualitative projects from inception to completion, conducting focus groups, in-depth interviews, diary studies, and employing innovative methodologies such as eye tracking. Additionally, the role will involve identifying opportunities to expand qualitative services for clients.

Required Skills:
  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in consumer qualitative research.
  2. Experience in the technology or entertainment sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Proficiency in various qualitative methodologies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and diary studies.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the role according to your vision. Previous placements in similar positions have led to significant team growth and leadership development.
