Experienced Occupational Therapist for Eating Disorders

Schoen Clinic Chelsea is a leading Mental Health Clinic dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages facing challenges with eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders. We also provide valuable assistance to their families.

We are seeking an experienced part-time Occupational Therapist (22.5 hours per week) to join our dynamic and welcoming multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge in working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with Eating Disorders, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. This role offers the chance to work with various pathways, including anxiety and mood-related issues, as we expand our services to better accommodate the needs of our patients and their families.

Your Role
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments for your assigned caseload
  • Collaborate closely with patients to establish clear occupational therapy goals
  • Develop and implement individualized and group interventions tailored to each patient's needs
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Provide dedicated support to adolescents with eating disorders and their families
  • Engage with adults dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders
About You

You are a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with individuals facing mental health challenges. You possess:

  • A Dip COT/BSc OT/MSc OT qualification
  • Registration with BAOT
  • HCPC registration
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy for eating disorders
  • Proficiency in selecting appropriate assessments and interventions
  • Previous experience as an occupational therapist in mental health or CAMHS
  • Experience with both individual and group therapies
