About the Role

Orri is a pioneering organization dedicated to revolutionizing the treatment of eating disorders in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in our day-care clinic, where you will play a vital role in providing expert care to individuals struggling with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to clients with eating disorders, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify client needs, and develop effective interventions to promote recovery and independence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practices in eating disorder treatment.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and full BVAOT membership, with HPC registration.
  • Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with a proven track record of working with clients with eating disorders or mental health conditions.
  • Experience in group interventions and supervising junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and critically evaluate current research.
