About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pre-Construction Feasibility Manager to join our Design and Construction team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating the feasibility of complex construction projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the feasibility of complex construction projects, including site selection, permitting, and contract execution.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to secure resources, scope infrastructure builds, and drive results.
  • Manage cost estimations, Due Diligences, and schedule tracking to ensure successful project handovers to Amazon stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage a team of external and internal professionals, including coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Represent Amazon in ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution of construction projects, while strategically improving processes, costs, quality, H&S, and sustainability performance.

Requirements
  • A completed Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
  • Solid demonstrable project management experience from design phase through implementation and operation, negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
  • Experience within packaging processing/logistical facilities with complex equipment or comparable experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within assigned regions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating within at least two disciplines in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated capability in the planning, design review & implementation, and project management/control of new structures & the enhancement of existing facility buildings.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated success in communicating to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Participation during a previous new FC Launch at Amazon in any role would be appreciated.
  • Additional EU languages are considered preferred qualifications.
