About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHSFT. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our adult mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to a team of mental health professionals, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including GPs, social services, and voluntary sector organizations.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that reflect best practice in adult mental health care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of service improvement plans.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a strong track record of leadership and clinical expertise.
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as mental health nursing or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience of working in a leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving results and improving patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a strong understanding of the complexities of adult mental health care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
