Glasgow, Glasgow City, United Kingdom Vantage Consulting Full time

Join Our Team as an Embedded Control Systems Engineer

Are you passionate about facilitating the transition to green energy? At Vantage Consulting, we are dedicated to creating tailored embedded control systems that integrate both software and hardware, addressing the global demand for sustainable, adaptable, and secure energy solutions.

We believe that HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology represents a sustainable long-term solution for energy transfer. This innovative technology enables efficient energy transmission over vast distances while connecting electricity networks with minimal losses. Beyond energy transfer, HVDC technology enhances electricity quality and contributes to the stabilization of interconnected power grids. For offshore wind energy or long-distance underwater transmission, direct current is the most viable option.

Your primary focus will be on Protection, collaborating with various domains within Control & Protection, IT/OT, Hardware, and Operations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of our systems, encompassing design, maintenance, testing, integration, verification, deployment, and documentation of essential functions for the safe and reliable operation of plants and transmission links.
