About the Job

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking an experienced Director of YouTube to lead our content strategy for all our brands. Your primary goal will be to define and execute a cross-platform business model to support the business objectives of growing viewing and revenues across video and music on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other self-serve distribution platforms.

As a key member of our Platforms & Music senior management group, you will identify commercial distribution, content, programming, and operations strategies for all self-serve platforms. You will turn strategy into planning with the Vertical Platforms and YouTube teams and take accountability for the delivery of those plans against content performance and commercial targets.

Responsibilities:

* Identify commercial distribution, content, programming, and operations strategies for all self-serve platforms
* Turn strategy into planning with the Vertical Platforms and YouTube teams
* Management and development of the team structure and individual reports' objectives and annual development plans
* Interrogation of data to deliver actionable insights and strategies for growth
* Organize and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present strategy, planning, and performance updates

What we're looking for in you:

* A proven track record in team management and development in a similarly fast-paced environment
* Experience in content strategy and platform relationship management on YouTube - and, ideally, with similar experience in other platforms
* YouTube Certified, with a deep and current knowledge of the YouTube platform
* Knowledge of YouTube Content ID is a major plus
* Experience working with animation/children's content is preferred but not required
* Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for building revenue forecasts and budgets for new and existing content series
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Additional languages are a major asset but not essential
