Role Overview

As a Power Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects related to electrical and instrumentation control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the formulation of Project Briefs in alignment with the requirements set forth by Asset Management.
  • Assess project risks and orchestrate mitigation strategies, which encompass gathering necessary documentation and insights to guide contractor pricing and risk management.
  • Facilitate and assist in technical evaluations throughout the project's Definition, De-Risking, and Detailed Design stages.
  • Deliver Technical assurance during the phases of delivery, commissioning, and asset handover.
  • Conduct Technical Assurance audits and checks on Contractor activities and outputs during the detailed design and construction phases of projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess an Engineering HNC, HND, or a degree in Electrical or ICA Engineering, complemented by practical experience in operational or delivery roles.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of project delivery within process industries.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within the Construction sector.
  • Experience in crafting technical project solutions or briefs within a specific discipline.
  • Proficient in utilizing relevant Company IT systems and Office software.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid working model.

We provide a standard workweek of 36 hours, from Monday to Friday, and welcome both part-time and full-time candidates.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 annually.
