About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Support Professional to join our Secretary Office team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in supporting our secretaries, supervisor, and other department teams to achieve our goals.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including:

  • Managing general office duties, including distributing answerphone messages and collecting outgoing post
  • Coordinating the distribution of messages to the correct person
  • Forwarding radiology reports to clinicians via email and chasing outcomes/feedback
  • Checking and processing clinic letters via our digital dictation or voice recognition systems

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide administrative support
  • Full training will be given, and we encourage career progression
