Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Radiology Clinical Service Unit for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to become part of our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. This role is essential to our operations, and we are seeking candidates who are adaptable and willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include evening and weekend shifts. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

This position is ideal for those looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment. We provide comprehensive support through a structured induction and training program, along with opportunities for professional growth in a nurturing atmosphere. The successful candidate will deliver a thorough administrative and reception service to the Radiology department, adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming patients at our busy Radiology reception area.
  • Scheduling appointments with patients via telephone for both urgent and routine visits.
  • Coordinating and dispatching appointment letters.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls from patients and internal staff using our communication system.
  • Processing patient referrals promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintaining and updating patient records in our Radiology information system.
  • Performing general office tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
