About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation in the commercial sector as a Quantity Surveying Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development of a high-quality, efficient, and effective Quantity Surveying Service within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of Quantity Surveying tasks as delegated by the Quantity Surveying Manager.
  • Manage the cost aspects of projects from start to finish.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to the wider team and the Quantity Surveying Manager.
  • Undertake necessary training and contribute to the training and development of other staff members in the team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience in a contractor's Quantity Surveying environment, preferably related to housing maintenance or the maintenance of commercial buildings. They should possess appropriate qualifications to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, along with a current CSCS card or equivalent.

Strong IT skills, especially in Word & Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively in person, on email, and over the phone are essential. Good analytical and numerical skills are also required.

What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of £36,500 and the provision to work the contractual 37 hours via a flexible and hybrid working agreement with the ability to work at home 2 to 3 days per week.
