An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on a key leadership role within our team. As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Ward A7, Diabetes and Endocrinology, and will play a crucial part in developing a first-class care environment.

As a leader on our ward, you will have the opportunity to develop your own style of leadership and contribute to the development of our team. You will also have access to external training courses in clinical skills and leadership, with potential funding available to support your professional development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the ward is appropriately staffed and addressing any staffing issues or concerns
  • Dealing with concerns in accordance with local and Trust policy
  • Supporting the nursing team in the delivery of high-quality care
  • Responding to incidents in line with local and Trust policy
