Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) Job Description

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to fill the role of Deputy Ward Manager in our inpatient eating disorder unit. The successful candidate will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward
  • Implement best practice across the ward and support changes within the service
  • Responsible for the clinical direction of the service and supporting the delivery of personalized care
  • Support and contribute to multidisciplinary team practice and the implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions
  • Ensure that care and treatment meets the standards set by regulators
Requirements:
  • Active Registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of Revalidation
  • Trained Mentor and experience in clinical supervision
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop leadership skills
  • Highly developed communication skills and good computer skills
  • Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services and at least 3 years post-registration experience
