We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Offshore Installation Lead to become a vital part of our team.
In this crucial position, you will be tasked with the development and execution of effective and secure logistics and offshore construction strategies for foundation installation across our diverse offshore wind project portfolio.
As an Offshore Installation Lead, you will collaborate closely with the project team, providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards as well as quality benchmarks.
Your proficiency in vessel operations, offshore construction machinery, and supply chain logistics will be critical in enhancing project delivery and achieving significant milestones.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and define logistics and offshore construction strategies for foundation installation, prioritizing efficiency and safety.
- Offer technical oversight, documenting supply chain details regarding installation equipment specifications and operational needs.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of vessel operations to pinpoint constraints and opportunities for improving offshore construction processes.
- Engage with technical, project controls, HSE, and quality assurance teams.
- Devise installation methodologies for various foundation types and techniques.
- Provide detailed assumptions for the construction timeline.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive project experience in large marine transportation and installation projects, ideally within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) frameworks.
- Thorough understanding of offshore construction schedules, foundation installation tasks, and interfacing package timelines.
- Demonstrated success in health, safety, and environmental management within construction environments.
- Experience with Construction Design Management (CDM) projects, HSE audits, design risk assessments, and method statement development.
- Strong familiarity with port infrastructure, marine operations, and offshore construction supply chains.
- Expertise in offshore installation equipment (lifting aids, pile installation tools, grouting machinery, etc.) and various vessel types (floating crane vessels, jack-up vessels, heavy transport vessels, barges).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
