Accounting Officer Credit Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage bi-weekly multi-currency payment runs, ensuring timely and secure transactions.
- Update supplier address and banking information to prevent delays.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and issues via phone and email.
- Regularly review open payments reports to identify proforma payments and request credit notes where necessary.
- Monitor returns to vendors and request credit notes to prevent debt accumulation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable professional with a strong background in credit management.
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role with a focus on credit management.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with accounting software to streamline processes.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
- A competitive salary in the range of £30,000 - £32,000.
