About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to lead our Vanguard Violence Reduction Project (VRP) as the Lead Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small NELFT health team, delivering a clinical model in collaboration with our partnership agencies, to build the capacity of community organisations working with vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the clinical model for the VRP
  • Build capacity in partnership community organisations through delivery of training, workshops, and reflective practice groups
  • Share specialist health and child development knowledge with non-health professionals and para-professionals
  • Join other professionals and community workers in direct work with young people to facilitate trauma-informed mental health formulations and access to statutory services as needed
