We have an opening for a permanent Cleaning Services Team Leader

Part-time role: 14 hours per week

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday - 08:00 to 16:00 (includes 1 hour unpaid break)

This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in a dynamic and diverse environment, collaborating with clinical teams and infection control. The cleaning services team plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of the organization’s facilities in line with national standards and strategic cleaning initiatives.

In this role, you will lead a small team to deliver professional cleaning services in accordance with established schedules and procedures, ensuring that standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining staff records and ensuring rosters align with service requirements
  • Participating in staff induction and training, as well as conducting staff development reviews
  • Reporting equipment and environmental defects and managing housekeeping-related inventory

In return, you will receive the support, training, and guidance necessary to perform a variety of duties that will assist your team.

  • Previous experience in the cleaning industry

Desirable

  • Supervisory experience in the cleaning sector
  • Experience in NHS cleaning supervision is advantageous

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 1 in Housekeeping or equivalent experience
  • Acknowledgment that original certificates will be required to verify qualifications upon offer

Desirable

  • Certifications in Health and Safety, Manual Handling
  • Any other job-related training
  • NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping
