Health & Safety Manager - Partitions


About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Health and Safety Policy across all business and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to support managers with health and safety issues, compile risk assessments, and ensure subcontractors meet safety standards.
  3. Provide expert advice on health and safety legislation, identify training needs, and implement systems for accident and risk management.
  4. Lead or assist in health and safety support on larger projects, attending pre-start meetings, and maintaining accurate safety records.
  5. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety strategies, ensuring a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in Health and Safety Management, preferably in the Construction Sector, with a focus on Partitions, Internals, or Fit Out.
  2. NEBOSH Qualified is essential, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and industry standards.
  3. CSCS Black Card is desirable, demonstrating a high level of competence in health and safety management.
  4. Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate complex health and safety information effectively.
  5. Willingness to travel to sites, with a flexible approach to work.
