Electrical Design Lead - Skilled Careers

If so, we are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Lead to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a leading international design consultancy, we specialise in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions to a wide range of clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading electrical design projects from inception to completion, ensuring design quality, budget compliance, and project delivery milestones are met.
  • Preparing electrical specifications and drawings, ensuring all designs meet and exceed industry standards and regulations.
  • Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring project progress, and reporting.
  • Coordinating with other design disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all design requirements are met.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • An enthusiastic individual with a relevant qualification in Electrical Design.
  • Experience of commercial (new build, refurbishments, and fit out), and mixed-use developments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Building Services Engineering Systems, including their performance, application, and operation.
  • A team player working within a multi-disciplined group, assisting senior engineers, and helping and encouraging graduate members, as well as having the initiative to work alone.
