**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Design Lead to join our London office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading medium to large-sized projects, developing and designing engineering projects, and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the running of large projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering services.
  • Conduct surveys, tests, and dilapidation reports on existing mechanical installations.
  • Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing meet functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Make day-to-day decisions on project progress and provide direct liaison with clients.
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors.
  • Ensure engineering calculations and drawings meet industry and legal standards.
  • Coordinate engineering services and take a holistic view in the selection and application of engineering concepts and solutions.

**Requirements**

  • BSc/BEng or degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in specification design for various building types.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software.
  • Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the RED Project Delivery Process.
