Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services Critical Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our Critical Systems team in the London office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for high-profile data centre and critical systems projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare scheme and detailed engineering designs for major data centre and other critical systems projects.
  • Work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.
  • Support colleagues in the development of their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context.
  • Experience of detailed coordination with other design disciplines.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant design software, including Dialux and Amtech packages.
  • Proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges.
