Electrical Engineer - Mission Critical

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who excels at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to construction contract. As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to assist the Group Leader with project delivery, utilizing assisting engineers effectively, maintaining technical quality, and completing all design activities to program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake electrical design tasks as designated by your supervisor for Data Centre projects.
  • Oversee project site works snagging and testing.
  • Assist Senior Engineers with detailed design tasks and drawing production on data centre projects.
  • Carry out detailed design calculations and develop a full understanding of computer design packages.
  • Maintain a Continuing Professional Development diary to assist in obtaining appropriate qualifications.
  • Develop an understanding of appropriate Legislation Standards, Building Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
  • Attend relevant site visits and meetings as and where applicable to the role or the project.
  • Attend relevant training as required by the practice to achieve Chartered status.
  • Assist in maintaining QA systems on projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
  • Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and EasyPower.
