About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement store standards and procedures to ensure a high-quality shopping experience for customers.
  • Manage stock control, inventory, and visual merchandising to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
