Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our diocesan offices, ensuring that policies and practices are up to date in relation to health and safety and data protection compliance.
This is a newly created position, grant funded by the Archbishops' Council, which will last for two years.
The Operations team is at the core of diocesan life, and this role requires someone who will maintain and strengthen positive relationships both within the team and with a wide variety of stakeholders.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that the team delivers support to parishes through our vision to 'Grow in prayer, make new disciples and Serve the People of Devon with joy'.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in an environment that encourages teamwork, energy, and creativity.
The successful candidate will be based at the Old Deanery, overlooking the cathedral in the heart of Exeter.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, has excellent planning and administration skills, and can use their own initiative to manage their workload and the workload of others.
The ideal candidate will have a sense of humour, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
