Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

Rydon is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Essex. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our healthcare buildings, ensuring that they are well-maintained, efficient, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Carry out reactive works, including repairs and maintenance
  • Manage and supervise contractors
  • Document management and site inductions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous relevant experience in building maintenance, ideally within the NHS or a maintenance contractor providing services to the NHS
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A trade background, including carpentry, plastering, basic plumbing, and electrical work

Working Hours:

Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will also participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs.
