Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Rydon. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance operatives to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that properties are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including operations and facilities management, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in maintenance and repair, ideally within the NHS or a similar environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
