Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in supporting young individuals aged 14-17.

In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for these young people who are facing Emotional & Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and may exhibit challenging behaviors. Your primary focus will be on fostering their growth, independence, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent support and guidance to young individuals, encouraging their active participation in daily activities and promoting their personal development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people under your care, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young individuals' care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive home environment, fostering a sense of belonging and security for the young people.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and making a positive difference in their lives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A valid driver's license is essential due to the nature of the role.
