About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our Garden Furniture team at Squire's Garden Centres. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to the Garden Centre Manager and contribute to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, including ordering and stock clearance, to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Garden Centre Manager and product managers to achieve departmental goals.
  • Leadership: Take responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager, making key decisions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Purchasing: Make informed purchasing decisions within the company product range, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Product Feedback: Provide valuable feedback on current and new products to optimize range and stock availability.
  • Customer Service: Foster excellent customer relationships, generating sales opportunities through interaction and ensuring high standards of appearance.
  • Task Allocation: Organize and allocate tasks to team members, prioritizing customer service needs.
  • Query Resolution: Handle customer queries and complaints with courtesy, escalating issues to the Manager and Product Manager as necessary.
