Job Title: Department Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our team at Squire's Garden Centres. As a key member of our Garden Furniture Department, you will provide essential support to our management team and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock levels, including accurate ordering and clearance, to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Garden Centre Manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Take charge of the department in the absence of the manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Purchase products within the company's product range, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Provide feedback on current and new products to optimize range and stock availability.
  • Maintain close liaison with the Product Manager to ensure the best possible range and stock availability.
  • Utilize initiative to increase sales in the department, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience.
  • Generate sales opportunities through interaction with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of appearance, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Organize and allocate tasks to team members, prioritizing customer service needs.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints with courtesy, escalating issues to the Manager and Product Manager as necessary.
