We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our team at Squires Garden Centres. As a key member of our Garden Furniture Department, you will provide management support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, including ordering and stock clearance as needed.
  • Collaborate with line management and product managers to achieve department goals.
  • Take responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager.
  • Purchase products within the company range, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Provide feedback on current and new products to optimize range and stock availability.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure optimal range and stock availability.
  • Use initiative to increase sales in the department.
  • Generate sales opportunities through customer interaction.
  • Monitor and maintain department appearance standards.
  • Organize and allocate tasks to meet customer service needs.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints with courtesy, referring to the Manager and Product Manager as needed.
