Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Keepmoat Homes. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Main Responsibilities

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site, including:

  • Coordinating site activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports, including site diaries, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and quality control specialists, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
  • Developing and implementing site-specific procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Providing support and guidance to site staff, including training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in construction management, with experience in site management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including health and safety, quality control, and environmental management.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
