Senior Project Manager - Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and motivate our engineering projects at our Tunstead Quarry site in Derbyshire.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Regional Directors, Regional Managers, and other teams, to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide engineering advice and support to the site, including problem-solving, process design, and operational improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in an engineering or construction environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and priorities.
