About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team at our service in Camborne. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mild learning disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide active support to individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with household tasks and daily routines, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of the individuals we support, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Use a digital app called Nourish to record and track care and support plans, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality support service, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • Full driving license, as you will be required to transport individuals as part of your role.
  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to use a digital app and write support plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing person-centred care.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of individuals with learning disabilities.
