Deaf Specialist Speech Therapist

About the Role:
Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in delivering specialist therapy services to deaf children in pre-school centres and primary schools. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing children and young people who have associated syndromes or special educational needs in addition to their deafness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessing and treating children and young people with complex communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support
- Providing training and support to less experienced therapists and students
- Participating in research and clinical governance projects to improve services and outcomes

Requirements:
- HCPC and RCSLT registration or in process
- Completed certification in BSL (British Sign Language) Level 2 or willingness to train to this level
