Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a specialist role working with deaf children. As a Speech and Language Therapist - Deaf Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to children with complex communication needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat children with associated syndromes or special educational needs in addition to their deafness.
- Manage and organize your own caseload, building strong relationships with schools and other stakeholders.
- Supervise, support, and direct less experienced Speech and Language Therapists, as well as train students.
- Initiate and undertake research, clinical governance, and audit projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Sponsorship to achieve qualifications in British Sign Language up to Level 2.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development and continuing professional development (CPD).
