Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Race Director to join our team at Daytona Sandown Park. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing race events and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage, monitor, and run race events, ensuring an entertaining and safe experience for customers.
- Act as Duty Manager, overseeing the Track team, Front of House team, and customers in a professional and effective manner while on duty.
- Conduct safety briefings for customers before race events.
- Enforce strict but fair race management from Race Control (training will be provided).
- Liaise with department heads to ensure events are executed to the highest standard.
- Be fully conversant with the company's computer booking and timing systems.
- Be knowledgeable about the Track Training Manual, NKA (National Karting Association) guidelines, and the Employee Handbook.
- Assist with the induction and training of new Track staff while supporting the ongoing development of the existing team in accordance with Company and Statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead by example, set high standards, and apply common sense and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management, people management, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiastic and able to have fun while working.
- Driven and committed to personal and professional development.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
