Transaction Monitoring Specialist

Paysend Group is seeking an experienced Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in monitoring and mitigating financial crime risk.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts to identify potential financial crime risks.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop and implement effective transaction monitoring rules and controls to prevent financial crime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure our controls remain effective.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or Excel.
