About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our compliance team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our financial transactions, safeguarding against financial crimes, and maintaining our reputation as a trusted financial services provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and analyze financial transactions to detect unusual or suspicious activity, and investigate alerts generated by our transaction monitoring system.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Conduct thorough research and analysis of customer profiles and transaction histories to identify potential risks and recommend actions to mitigate them.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations, and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in transaction monitoring, and assist in the development and enhancement of our transaction monitoring processes and systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and compliance standards, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in using transaction monitoring systems and related software.
  • Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
