About the Role

Page Personnel is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join their compliance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of their financial transactions, safeguarding against fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from our central London office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and analyse financial transactions to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Alert Investigation: Investigate alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system and escalate cases as necessary.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of customer profiles and transaction histories.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in transaction monitoring.
  • Process Development: Assist in the development and enhancement of transaction monitoring processes and systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • AML Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and compliance standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using transaction monitoring systems and related software.
  • Certification: Professional certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
