Page Personnel Finance is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join their compliance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of their financial transactions, safeguarding against fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and from the central London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance standards, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze financial transactions to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Investigate alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system and escalate cases as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of customer profiles and transaction histories.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in transaction monitoring.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of transaction monitoring processes and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using transaction monitoring systems and related software.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
