Job Summary:

Transaction Monitoring VP at Barclays plays a crucial role in safeguarding the bank against financial crime, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risks, and leading teams responsible for monitoring suspicious financial activities. The role demands a combination of leadership, regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, and an ability to collaborate across various functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily operations of transaction monitoring teams.
2. Ensure that all transactions across the bank are adequately screened for potential financial crime risks.
3. Supervise the handling of alerts generated by the bank's monitoring systems, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
4. Identify potential risks related to transaction monitoring and financial crime, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
5. Continuously assess the effectiveness of the bank's transaction monitoring systems and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements:

* Have worked in a Senior Transaction Monitoring position previously
* Senior Change Management experience
* Senior Stakeholder management experience up to C Suite Level
* A Finance/ Mathematics/ Business or similar Degree
