About the Role

Paysend Group is seeking an experienced Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join our team. As an Enterprise Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring and mitigating financial crime risk, including money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts to determine their validity and identify potential financial crime risks.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of complex data sets to identify patterns and trends that may indicate suspicious activities.
  • Develop and implement proactive investigations to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed investigation reports.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Risk teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in B2B/Enterprise transaction monitoring.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as SQL, Python, or Excel.
  • Knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
  • Experience with transaction monitoring and case management systems.
