As a Luxury Bookseller, you will deliver outstanding customer service and work autonomously or collaboratively to uphold our exceptional store standards. We aim for you, our patrons, and our team members to take pride in the experiences we create together.
Responsibilities of a Luxury Bookseller:
You will enhance our customers' experience in our premium bookshop, ensuring it is memorable. Whether they are in a hurry or have time to explore, you will guarantee they find the luxury item they desire. You should be knowledgeable about a diverse array of genres, from thrillers to science fiction, children's literature to non-fiction. Our customers are central to our mission, so for our Booksellers, no effort is too great. This means proactively engaging with customers and fostering strong relationships through your enthusiasm for literature, as well as sharing information about our exceptional offers. Some of the titles you will handle can be valued significantly, so you must ensure they are displayed appropriately. Every task you undertake must meet the highest standards to ensure our customers leave eager to return. Your focus will include:
As a Luxury Bookseller, you should possess a natural talent for promoting our products and the confidence to make excellent recommendations, presenting our titles attractively. Experience in a retail book environment is highly desirable for this position. Most importantly, we seek individuals who are genuinely passionate about literature, excellent listeners, confident in sales, and possess a strong sense of ambition. With the support of your team, we will equip you with the skills necessary for success. For those aspiring to advance, we will actively encourage your growth. As a Bookseller, the path to becoming a future Store Manager or working in one of our Support Centres is open to you.
