As a Premium Book Consultant, you will deliver outstanding customer service and work both independently and collaboratively to uphold our exceptional store standards. We aim for our customers and colleagues to feel proud to engage with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will ensure that every customer experience in our luxury retail environment is memorable. Whether customers are in a hurry or have time to explore, you will ensure they leave with the perfect literary purchase. You should be knowledgeable about a variety of genres, including thrillers, science fiction, children's literature, and non-fiction. Our customers are central to our mission, so as a Bookseller, you will proactively engage with them and foster strong relationships through your enthusiasm for literature, while also informing them about our current promotions. Some of the titles you will handle can be valued at significant amounts, so maintaining their presentation is crucial. Your tasks will include:

Providing an exceptional level of customer service to all patrons. Actively welcoming and engaging with all customers. Managing stock replenishment and ensuring the store remains tidy and inviting. Upholding high standards of display and visual merchandising to assist customers in finding what they seek. Collaborating with team members and supporting colleagues. Maintaining positive working relationships with landlords and other departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

As a Premium Book Consultant, you should possess a strong ability to promote our products and confidently make excellent recommendations, showcasing our titles attractively. Previous experience in a retail book environment is highly beneficial. Most importantly, we seek individuals who are genuinely passionate about literature, excellent listeners, confident in sales, and possess a healthy ambition. With the support of your team, we will equip you with the skills necessary for success. For those with aspirations for advancement, we will actively encourage your growth. As a Bookseller, you have the potential to become a future Store Manager or work in one of our Support Centres.
