About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing DC power systems in various locations, including wind farms, data centers, and electricity substations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission DC power systems, including UPS equipment, rectifiers, inverters, and switchgear.
  • Perform functional tests, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance on DC power systems.
  • Load new software and make changes to control system settings.
  • Replace components and perform repairs as needed.
  • Provide on-call support via phone or computer as required.

Requirements:

  • Based in the Midlands with experience servicing electrical/electronic products in the DC power sector.
  • Ideally, someone with UPS, rectifiers, inverters, or switchgear experience is a plus.
  • Someone who loves solving technical issues and is comfortable working in diverse environments.
