Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are recruiting for several Field Service Engineers to join our dynamic team at a world-leading, multi-national company.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced engineers to work in either a Field Based Mechanical or Electrical Engineering role. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients and team members, provide exceptional customer service, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Team Work: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Service, Maintenance, and Repairs: Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Technical Competence: Apply technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to varying work schedules and travel requirements.
  • Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • HNC or Equivalent Qualification: In Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: As a Field Service Engineer or willingness to work in this role.
  • Full UK Driver's License: Required for extensive travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: And attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Ability to Multi-Task: In a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness and Availability: For extensive travel and potential overnight stays.
Additional Information

This role requires extensive travel, with potential overnight stays. Preferred candidates will have extensive mechanical or electrical knowledge and experience as a Field Service Engineer in the print, packaging, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
