Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role with a world-leading company? We are recruiting for several Field Service Engineers to join our dynamic team in Redditch.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced engineers to work on mechanical and electrical systems, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clear communication with clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Team Work: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Service, Maintenance, and Repairs: Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Technical Competence: Apply technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to varying work schedules and travel requirements.
  • Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • HNC or Equivalent Qualification: In Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: As a Field Service Engineer or willingness to work in this role.
  • Full UK Driver's License: Required for extensive travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: And attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: And interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Multi-Task: In a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to Travel: Extensively across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Additional Information

This role requires extensive travel, staying away potentially 4 nights a week, in some instances longer. Preferred candidates will have extensive mechanical or electrical knowledge and experience as a Field Service Engineer in the print, packaging, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
