Fundraising Coordinator – Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising Coordinator to join our team at Headway - the brain injury association. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping us improve life after brain injury by driving impactful fundraising events and activities that support individuals, families, and communities across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Community Fundraising: Build relationships with community fundraisers, providing advice and fundraising materials to support their fundraising journey with us.
- Relationship Management: Act as a primary contact, recognizing achievements and promoting stories to the communications team.
- Fundraising Opportunities: Research and development of fundraising opportunities and activities that appeal to community audiences.
- Database Management: Maintain our fundraising databases, track donations and collaborate with teams to meet financial targets.
- Community Engagement: Deliver talks and attend community events, supporting local Headway charities and volunteer-led branches.
We are open-minded and welcome all applicants who believe they can succeed in this role. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience of working with community fundraisers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, working to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently but also collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to actively research and build a pipeline of community fundraising activities that appeal to current and new audiences.
Headway - the brain injury association plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families affected by brain injuries. Our comprehensive services encompass rehabilitation, counselling, and practical assistance to help survivors regain independence and improve their quality of life.
