Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to join our team at Construction Resources Limited. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in leading the technical delivery of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage the design process, ensuring that solutions meet business commercial needs and are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assess, control, and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage the adoption process, including roads, sewers, and open spaces, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Propose, investigate, review, and make recommendations for innovative design solutions to improve project outcomes.
  • Lead project pre-development and progress meetings, ensuring adequate record keeping and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Attend regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any design-related issues.

Requirements

  • Construction/design-related HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant CSCS card.
  • Residential development experience, with a focus on mixed-tenure regeneration projects on brownfield sites.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Good time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the social/affordable housing and healthcare sectors.
